ASKED AND ANSWERED

How many participants will be in the workshop?
There will be 20 women in the TtT program.

What do I need to bring to the retreat?
Besides personal items, bring hiking shoes (tennis shoes will suffice, but they may get muddy),
warm/wet weather clothing to wear on a light hike, group appropriate lounge wear, a yoga mat if you have one and a water bottle.

What is the finale event?
If your program includes a finale event, you will get the opportunity to participate in a safe, yet exhilarating activity at the end of your 90-day program. You will be given the opportunity to get out of your comfort zone during a safe, guided, fun, and challenging activity. The finale activities are day events and will vary from program to program, giving us a way to bond as a group, celebrate our successes and participate in an activity you may not take part in otherwise.

How is working with a Nutritionist different than following a diet plan?
Each person has unique food preferences and daily schedules. You may not know what your triggers are and why other approaches haven’t succeeded. Your program will work because your individual plan is designed for you, with your needs and lifestyle in mind. Your program will feel natural and therefore be easy to implement into your daily rhythm and schedule. You will change habits, learning how to eat for your needs and goals – lessons that will last a lifetime.

What work will I be doing with the Nutritionist?
You and the TtT Nutritionist will work to define your health goals and develop a plan to help you reach those goals.

Do I need to be an experienced yogi?
Not at all. The yoga practice is an all-levels practice and will be taught and tailored to you with knowledge of the experience of the participants in your program. However, if you desire a private session to deepen your experience of the practice, facilitating more quickly your learning of the asanas (postures), you are welcome to make arrangements with your teacher. The yoga program’s goal is for you to discover how good it feels to breathe, stretch and move!

What style of yoga will we be practicing?
Yoga for Transformation™ was designed specifically for this 90-day program. Its roots are in vinyasa (flow) yoga, a practice linking poses in way that allows for a powerful physical and spiritual experience.

What is coaching?
Coaching is a pro-active, optimistic interaction focusing on people’s inherent strengths and seeking to facilitate the actions that take people from where they are professionally and personally, to where they want to be.

Who works with a Coach?
Professionals, students, entrepreneurs and people in transition are examples of those who typically work with a coach.
